Carl Knif directs the performance Under himlen, mellan husen (“Beneath the Sky, Between the Houses”), which premieres at 28 November 2026 at Unga Teatern. The performance is a warm and playful dance theatre performance in the heart of winter.
In the courtyard of a residential neighbourhood on the outskirts of the city, the ground lies bare. It is winter, bitterly cold, yet the snow refuses to fall. Elfride, Dina, Bernhard and Cesi all hope for something – a father, a song, a dream. Under himlen, mellan husen is a play set in the most ordinary of places, yet told in an extraordinary way. Under the direction of choreographer Carl Knif, dance, theatre and music come together in a warm and playful performance about longing and hope—about what can still happen, despite everything.
