Carl Knif Company and Zodiak will organize two workshops in autumn 2020. They are both based on Carl Knif’s improvisatory method
BREATH – GAZE – SPACE.
Workshops focus on opening the body and the mind and making them more sensitive through exercises that aim to gain comprehensive control of the body and achieve total presence. The participants work towards precise bodily states and qualities of motion. The themes are approached through precise motion series and dance improvisation. The workshop is also an introduction to the vocabulary of motion Knif uses in his choreographic work.
The first one is open for all. It is instructed by dance artist Jonna Aaltonen.
